VISION, MISSION, OBJECTIVES, AND TARGETS OF FACULTY OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY AND AGROINDUSTRY

Vision

To become a faculty qualified to develop quality, dynamic and innovative science, technology, and human resources based on research in the fields of Food, Agroindustry, and Biosystems with environmental perspective and international competitiveness in 2025

Mission

  1. Carrying out scientific, professional, and entrepreneurial-oriented education.
  2. Conducting research to develop food science and technology, agroindustry, and biosystems.
  3. Actively being engaged in the application of food technology, agroindustry, and biosystems in order to advance the agricultural industry.

Objectives

  1. Creating proficient, highly skilled, independent, and responsive agricultural technology experts in developing science and technology to meet the needs of society.
  2. Having the spirit of Pancasila and high personal integrity as a bachelor of food technology and agricultural engineering.
  3. Being able to master the knowledge and skills in applying technology and arts owned by the field of expertise of food, agroindustry, and biosystems.
  4. Mastering scientific basics to think and act as a scientist.
  5. Mastering the basics of science and technology in agriculture, thus being able to discover, understand, explain and formulate ways of solving problems in their field of expertise.
  6. Developing and discovering science, technology, and art in the disciplines of agricultural technology.
  7. Providing services to the community through disseminating and applying science, technology, and art in supporting food, agroindustry, and biosystems.

Targets

The main program targets for the development of the Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry as a whole are intended to be able to realise the vision. Determination and achievement of the main program/activity target sizes are carried out in stages and continuously in each field of tasks and functions of the University of Mataram as a higher education institution. Target areas of activity include five pillars, namely:

  2. Field of Research
  3. Field of Community Service
  4. Field of Information Systems and Collaboration
  5. Asset Management, Administration, Finance, and Sources of Funds
