History
Bachelor Programme of Agricultural Engineering was established in 2005 (based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 27/Dikti/Kep/2005). Based on the Rector Decree of University of Mataram No. 1569/UN18/HK.00.01/2012, Bachelor Programme of Agricultural Engineering then became one of study programs under Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry, University of Mataram. It has been accredited three times with Accreditation grade B from BAN-PT (BAN-PT Decree No. 9604/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/S/VII/2021). Bachelor Programme of Agricultural Engineering has proposed to change its name to Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program (ABESP) in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia No. 57/M/KPT/2019 regarding university study programme name. Thus, the study programme name changed accepted the degree received by the graduates will be Sarjana Teknik (S.T.), equivalent to Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in English.
