Vision

To become a leading study programme in the archipelagic agroindustry sector by implementing the basics of agricultural and biosystems engineering recognised at the international level

Mission

  1. Organizing education and teaching to produce quality graduates who can independently master, apply, and develop the fundamentals of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems in the field of island agroindustry that are internationally competitive and capable of meeting the demands of the community of users of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems graduates

  2. Conducting research in the field of Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems, and Island Agroindustry with an environmental perspective that contributes to solving problems in community, national, and state life and advancing science.
  3. Carrying out community service by assisting the community in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and environmentally aware agro-industry, particularly in engineering aspects based on study results and existing information to enhance knowledge and welfare.
  4. Forming an academic community with integrity, character, competitiveness, and insight by developing, controlling, and maintaining the quality and sustainability of biological and environmental processes related to agriculture, food, natural resources, energy, and rural development through the Tri Dharma of higher education.
  5. Managing the study program in a professional and accountable manner by implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education and applying the principles of quality assurance.

Objectives

  1. Producing graduates who are competent in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agroindustry, creative, innovative, dynamic, possess strong morals, are self-confident, maintain a high work ethic, and demonstrate responsibility , enabling them to compete nationally and internationally.

  2. Producing research outputs in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agroindustry that can serve as references for addressing various national, regional, and international problems.
  3. Organizing the Tri Dharma of higher education in the field of agricultural biosystem engineering and agro-industry that is credible, competent, professional, and innovative contributing to the nation’s economic, social, and cultural development.
  4. Generating cooperation with various parties at home and abroad to enhance the quality of Tri Dharma higher education activities.
  5. Organizing efficient, effective, accountable, and professional governance of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program in accordance with the principles of good governance.

Strategies

  1. Producing graduates who possess competencies in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agroindustry, capable of becoming managers, analysts, designers, and entrepreneurs while being creative, innovative, dynamic, and of noble character, self-confident, possessing a high work ethic, and demonstrating responsibility.

  2. Organizing a high-quality and internationally competitive Agricultural Engineering Study Program in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agro-industry by pursuing international accreditation.
  3. Developing national and international networks in agricultural engineering and biosystems to support the Tri Dharma program (education, research, and community service)
  4. Encouraging and facilitating research in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agro-industry with the goal of international publication.
  5. Managing the Agricultural Engineering Study Program to facilitate the higher education process in agricultural engineering, biosystems, and agroindustry.
